PSL 9: Big blow as 13 Karachi Kings players suffer from food poisoning

Karachi Kings players celebrate after taking a wicket. - Karachi KingsKARACHI: In a big blow to Karachi Kings, 13 players in the squad are currently suffering from food poisoning.One of the players was also moved to a local hospital after his condition worsened, sources revealed. “The players didn’t get ill after ordering food from outside the hotel since that was not allowed,” a source close to the team added. However, Karachi’s team management is hopeful that they will be able to field a team for today’s match against Quetta Gladiators at the National Bank Stadium.  Daniel Sams and James Vince also didn't feature in Karachi's last match due to the same reason.  Last night, Islamabad United bagged their second victory of PSL 9 after they won against Karachi Kings by seven wickets at National Bank Stadium.
